Play Therapy
Children express their innermost thoughts, feelings, and needs through the playing process. Using this information, We help children work through their inner conflicts with confidence.
We work with children, adolescents, and adults. Feedback from play therapy can be very helpful in assisting parents and educators to best meet a child’s needs. We discover one’s inner strengths and empower them to use those strengths.
We work from a strength-based and relational approach, incorporating Mindfulness-based techniques, expressive arts, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy.
In play therapy, non-directive and directive approaches are used depending on each person’s goals and needs. We can help in managing ADHD, anger, behavioral concerns, oppositional defiance, anxiety, divorce, coping skills, depression, peer relationship concerns, low self-esteem, bullying, grief, and trauma.
